Fixed term contracts available for LGV C+E Drivers with full C.P.C. Qualification Cards wanted on fixed 5 from 7 shift patterns to support our summer holiday season. These temporary contracts will run until the 12th September with some positions having the option to become full time contracts.
All rota’s have guaranteed minimum hours and overtime is regularly available as are regular bonus payment opportunities above basic pay.

We would like to hear from you if...
- You are a qualified LGV Driver C+E with an up-to-date CPC qualification.
- You understand tachograph laws and rules and regulations of the road.
- You have good geographic knowledge of UK roads.
- You have experience driving articulated vehicles.
- You have an ability to work without direct supervision.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You have an ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
About the Role
~1 min readThe key part of the role is to deliver goods safely to RDC’s and return to depot according to the plan and adhering to all legal requirements and safety.
- Unlike many driver roles, there is minimal manual handling requirements and minimal store work, focusing mainly on supplier collections and DC deliveries.
- Accountable for understanding and adherence to the route schedule.
- Accountable for ensuring the correct load & paperwork is on board.
- Responsible for ensuring the tractor & trailer unit are road legal.
- Responsible for filling in the check sheets and reporting any defects.
- Responsible for identifying and logging defects into the defect books.
- Responsible for informing the depot of any delays on in their day.
- Responsible for adhering to all tachograph and working time law.
- To act as an ambassador for the company by always driving and behaving responsibly.
- To get the best out of our vehicles by driving with care, forward planning, and fuel efficiency.
- Ensuring load security and safety.
