Store Manager - Fall Pop-Up [October Start]
Quick Summary
STORE MANAGER FALL POP-UP | LUXURY WOMEN'S BRAND Join a London-based designer fashion house built on the belief that fashion should sell a feeling: happiness.
Join a London-based designer fashion house built on the belief that fashion should sell a feeling: happiness. This brand creates joyful experiences that make people smile, and we're looking for a Store Manager who naturally embodies that same spirit and can lead a team to bring it to life every day.
This isn't a traditional luxury retail leadership role. It's an opportunity to set the tone for warmth, positivity, and genuine personality across an entire store — building a team that helps every customer leave happier than when they arrived.
As Store Manager, you'll be the face of leadership for the pop-up — responsible for building, coaching, and motivating a team that brings the brand's joyful spirit to life, while owning the store's overall performance, operations, and presentation. You set the standard the rest of the team follows.
This role is ideal for someone who leads with warmth and energy rather than pressure — a natural people-leader who is equally comfortable coaching a team, reading the sales floor, and stepping in personally with a client when it matters.
A natural leader who brings warmth, positivity, and steady energy to a team, even during a busy trading day
Genuinely embodies the brand ethos — joyful, curious, generous, and authentically stylish — and can instill that same spirit in others
Confident, decisive, and calm under pressure, with excellent communication skills
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across people, product, and operations at once
Comfortable holding a team accountable while still leading with warmth, not authority for its own sake
Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of pride and ownership over how a space looks, feels, and performs
Requirements
~1 min readPrior experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role (Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Keyholder) is required
Luxury or premium fashion background is a plus, but the right leadership instincts and personality matter more than a resume line
Understands that selling is about creating trust, helping clients style themselves, and making people feel good — and can coach a team to sell the same way, never through pressure
Comfortable owning scheduling, inventory systems, and day-to-day store operations (POS, stockroom, reporting)
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and key trading periods, including opening and closing shifts
Recruit input, onboard, and train new team members so they can authentically represent the brand from day one
Coach the team on clienteling, styling, and service standards through real-time, on-floor feedback
Build and manage the staff schedule to ensure consistent coverage and energy on the floor at all times
Motivate and support the team day-to-day, creating a positive, close-knit working environment
Set the standard for how every customer is welcomed and made to feel at home from the moment they walk through the door
Personally step in on key client relationships and escalations, modeling the brand's high-touch service style
Ensure the team consistently delivers thoughtful after-sales care, including personalized thank-you messages
Own overall store sales performance, tracking daily, weekly, and monthly targets and adjusting team focus accordingly
Identify trends on the floor and coach the team on selling techniques to meet them, always customer-experience-first
Report store performance and client insights back to the brand/RFTP point of contact
Maintain impeccable visual merchandising and store presentation, holding the team accountable to the same standard
Ensure the space reflects the brand's joyful, stylish spirit at all times, adjusting as needed throughout the day
Own store operations end-to-end: opening and closing procedures, inventory management, stock deliveries, and back-of-house organization
Process sales, exchanges, and daily store operations accurately, and ensure the team does the same
Monitor, prepare, and fulfill e-commerce orders promptly
Lead and coordinate store events, activations, and special projects
Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational issues, escalating to the brand/RFTP as needed
Achievement of overall store sales goals
Customers consistently leaving happier than when they arrived, store-wide
A strong, motivated team with low turnover and high morale throughout the run
Consistent reflection of brand spirit across service, presentation, and team culture
Smooth day-to-day operations with minimal escalations needed
Competitive hourly compensation
