We are seeking a Senior Paid Advertising Strategist who can lead high-impact paid search and paid social strategies, influence client outcomes, and help elevate the overall performance standard of our paid advertising team.
About the Role
~1 min readThe Senior Paid Advertising Strategist will own and lead paid advertising strategy for a portfolio of client accounts, with responsibility for campaign performance, strategic recommendations, budget management, client communication, and cross-functional alignment.
This role is ideal for a seasoned paid media professional who is equally comfortable analyzing data, building campaign strategy, presenting performance insights, and influencing client direction. You will serve as a trusted performance advisor for your accounts and help guide clients toward decisions that improve measurable results.
This is not simply an execution-focused role. The Senior Paid Advertising Strategist is expected to think ahead, identify opportunities, solve complex performance challenges, mentor others, and contribute to the continued evolution of Reunion Marketing’s paid advertising approach.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Own paid advertising strategy, execution, optimization, and performance outcomes across a portfolio of client accounts.
- Develop and manage campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, and other relevant paid media channels.
- Translate client goals into clear paid media strategies, campaign structures, testing plans, and performance benchmarks.
- Monitor budgets, pacing, conversion trends, lead quality, cost efficiency, and overall account health.
- Identify risks, performance gaps, and growth opportunities before they become client concerns.
- Make proactive recommendations to improve results, increase efficiency, and strengthen client ROI.
- Lead campaign testing initiatives, including audience strategy, creative testing, bidding strategies, landing page recommendations, and conversion optimization opportunities.
- Serve as a senior subject matter expert on client-facing calls, performance reviews, and strategic planning discussions.
- Translate complex campaign data into clear, compelling performance narratives that clients can understand and act on.
- Confidently explain strategy, results, recommendations, and tradeoffs to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Influence client decision-making by using data, industry insight, and performance trends to support recommendations.
- Partner with Client Success team members to ensure paid advertising strategy aligns with client goals, expectations, and broader account strategy.
- Support client retention and growth by demonstrating measurable value and strategic leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally with Client Success, SEO, Analytics, Creative, and Development teams to ensure integrated client strategies.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Paid Advertising Strategists and other team members as needed.
- Help establish and refine best practices for campaign management, performance reporting, optimization workflows, and client communication.
- Contribute to internal training, knowledge sharing, and process improvement initiatives.
- Act as an escalation point for complex paid media performance questions or account challenges.
- Bring forward ideas that improve team efficiency, client outcomes, and overall department performance.
- Analyze campaign data to identify trends, insights, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare and present strategic performance updates that clearly connect actions to outcomes.
- Use data to evaluate campaign effectiveness and recommend next steps.
- Stay current on paid media platform changes, automation tools, AI-driven advertising capabilities, and industry trends.
- Continuously test, learn, and refine strategies to improve performance across accounts.

Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, paid search, paid social, or paid media campaign management.
- Demonstrated experience managing paid advertising strategy for multiple clients or complex accounts.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and related reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of paid search, paid social, conversion tracking, budget pacing, attribution, and campaign optimization.
- Experience presenting campaign performance, insights, and strategic recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders.
- Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications preferred.
- Experience with Fluency or other advertising automation platforms is a plus.
- Automotive industry experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
- Prior agency experience preferred.
