Responsibilities

- →Perform complex diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of powersports vehicles
- →Work on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, fuel systems, suspension, and driveline components
- →Utilize OEM diagnostic tools and service manuals effectively
- →Multi-Line Expertise
- →Service and repair multiple OEM brands with accuracy and efficiency
- →Stay up to date on manufacturer updates, recalls, and service bulletins
- →Service Efficiency & Productivity
- →Meet or exceed flat-rate time standards and productivity goals
- →Accurately document repairs, diagnostics, and parts usage
- →Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- →Quality Control
- →Ensure all repairs meet or exceed manufacturer standards
- →Perform thorough inspections and test rides to confirm proper operation
- →Team Collaboration
- →Work closely with service advisors and parts department to ensure smooth workflow
- →Mentor and assist junior technicians when needed
Requirements
~1 min read- 5+ years of experience as a powersports technician (A-Level or equivalent)
- Strong diagnostic skills across electrical, fuel injection, and engine systems
- Experience working with multiple OEM brands (e.g., metric motorcycles, off-road, watercraft)
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical service information
- Valid motorcycle endorsement and clean driving record
Nice to Have
~1 min read- OEM certifications (e.g., Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, BRP, Polaris, etc.)
- Technical school or trade certification in powersports, motorcycle, or small engine repair
- Must have own professional-grade tools
- Experience with OEM diagnostic software and scan tools preferred
