About the Role
~1 min readWe are looking for a Product Lead to lead Rippling’s Accounting Platform.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Own the product vision and roadmap for Rippling’s Accounting Platform.
- →Build a world-class accounting experience across Finance and Payroll.
- →Develop AI-powered accounting workflows that help customers keep their books complete and current.
- →Automate core close processes such as transaction validation, reconciliation, and period-end adjustments.
- →Build the platform capabilities needed to support complex ERP environments and larger customers.
- →Improve the reliability and scalability of the systems that move financial data from Rippling into customers’ general ledgers.
- →Work closely with Finance, Payroll, Procurement, and Data teams to build shared accounting capabilities.
- →Spend significant time with controllers and accounting teams to understand how they work and where Rippling can eliminate manual effort.
- →Partner closely with Engineering and Design from product discovery through launch.
- →Define clear measures of customer and business impact, then use them to prioritize the roadmap.
- →8+ years of product management experience, ideally working on complex B2B software.
- →Strong product judgment and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into a clear strategy.
- →Experience building technically complex products that depend on integrations, data models, or platform infrastructure.
- →A strong understanding of accounting workflows and the financial systems businesses use to run them.
- →The ability to work closely with engineers on complex system and data problems.
- →Strong customer instincts and a willingness to learn detailed accounting workflows firsthand.
- →High ownership. You should be comfortable setting direction and making decisions in a fast-moving environment.
- →Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have
- →Experience building accounting, ERP, fintech, or financial operations products.
- →Familiarity with systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- →Experience with month-end close, reconciliation, transaction coding, or financial integrations.
- →Experience building AI agents or AI-powered workflow products.
- →Experience building products for controllers, accountants, or enterprise finance teams.
