Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Review and test financial systems software
- →Perform monthly and annual financial data analysis
- →Preparation and maintenance of the annual budget and the related data that is required for submission of Medicare and Medicaid annual cost reports
- →Review and perform reimbursement analysis
- →Review and prepare federal, state, and local tax returns
- →Interpret and communicate federal and state regulations and assess the theoretical integrity of the accounting functions
- →Serve as a liaison with regulatory and taxing agencies, external consultants, auditors, leadership and other departments within the Health System
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelors Degree, Accounting or Business Administration, with a minor in Computer Science/IT (Required)
- Masters Degree, (Preferred)
- 2 years experience in Accounting, with Computer Science/IT minor (Required)
- 2 years working as an Accountant with database design, software design and specification, and programming (Basic, SQL, C++, Visual Basic) experience in lieu of Computer Science/IT minor (Required)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - The AICPA (Preferred)
