ORCIP (Operating Room Clinical Internship Program)

• →Bachelors Degree, Nursing (Preferred) or
• →Associates Degree, Nursing (Preferred) or
• →Program Graduate, Nursing (Nursing Diploma is minimum education requirement, Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing accepted in lieu of Nursing Diploma) (Required) and
• →High School Diploma or GED, HS Diploma/GED only required if Nursing Diploma Graduate (Required)

• Registered Nurse (RN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) or licensed in a compact state  Upon Hire(Required) and
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire(Required)

• Applicants without previous experience in a surgical setting will be required to perform 4 hours of shadowing at Riverside Regional Medical Center. Select applicants will be contacted to schedule appointments and pre-shadowing education requirements

• Selected applicants must sign a two (2) year work agreement for a full-time position or three (3) year work agreement for a part-time position within Riverside Health System. Applicants selected for positions within targeted facilities will sign their agreement with the specific facility. Pay rate during the internship and terms of hire will be discussed with applicants on an individuals basis by Talent Acquisition.
