Respiratory Therapist Temp Assignment

• →Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, implementing, and evaluating the treatment and procedures that contribute to the Respiratory Care Plan.
• →Completes all documentation and assures all orders are current, completed or discontinued.
• →Participates and assists in meetings, projects and in-services relative to improvement of RHS Respiratory Care Services.
• →Utilizes proper infection control techniques in performance of duties and in accordance with departmental procedures.
• →Works with physicians and nurses to create treatment plans. Evaluates progress of the treatment.

• Associates Degree,  Respiratory Therapy or Related Field (Required) or
• Bachelors Degree,  Respiratory Therapy or Related Field (Preferred)

• 2 years  Respiratory Therapy experience (Required)

• Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) - The National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)  RCP license from the Virginia Department of Health Professions Upon Hire(Required) and
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - The National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Upon Hire(Required) and
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC)   Upon Hire(Required) and
• ACLS Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC)   Upon Hire(Required)
