• →Assists Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient operation of the warehouse.
• →Ability to operate Walkie Rider and Reach
• →General understanding of computers and handheld RF equipment.
• →Loads and unloads RJW truck / trailers safely and efficiently using proper procedures, including outside carriers equipment.
• →Flexible to work 10 to 12 hours shifts when necessary and not afraid of heights.
• →Picking and moving stock from 1 lb. to 50 lbs. multiple times.
• →Ensures all shipments are correctly staged and loaded properly.
• →Maintains warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping.
• →Processing outbound cross-dock freight as necessary.
• →Oversees storing stock properly in the warehouse and moving product into the storage racks.
• →Works from warehouse operations sheets using a Walkie Rider or Reach to pick customer orders and load on trailers.
• →Records and verifies the accuracy of the shipments against the paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments / deliveries.
• →Ensures all documentation and paperwork is properly completed.
• →Operates Walkie Rider and Reach safely and efficiently following all OSHA regulations, RJW safety policies, and procedures.
• →This includes wearing of seatbelts at all times when operating the forklift.
• →Completes daily maintenance inspections.
• →Handles all customer products properly and orderly.
• →Checks deliveries for poor packing, general condition of materials, and free of damage. Alerts Warehouse Supervisor of any problems, taking pictures if necessary.
• →Reports all accidents / incidents, to employee, damage of stock, or building damage to the Shift Supervisor immediately.
• →Spotting of trailers to maintain efficient yard organization and flow of equipment for the day.
• →Maintains access to dock doors both inside and outside the facility keeping them free of debris or snow.
• →Other tasks as assigned by manager.

• →Possesses a sense of urgency, accountability, and be able to work with limited supervision.
• →General understanding of computers and handheld RF equipment.
• →He/she must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• →Attention to detail and quality a must.
• →Good communication, clear and concise, problem resolution, and people skills.
• →Flexibility in working overtime when needed, and supplying coverage to other shifts.
• →PC skills helpful.
• →Major experience on Walkie Rider and Reach
• →Experience in building pallets with stock and breaking down stock to fill independent orders.
• →Experience in cross docking freight process.
• →Ability to work in a fast paced warehouse.

• 3-6 months of Walkie Rider and Reach experience in a warehouse.
• Good stable work record.

• High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED).
• Warehousing certifications a plus.
