Journeyman Plumbers play a key role in delivering the plumbing systems that support some of the region's most complex construction projects. From piping installation and equipment startup to testing and troubleshooting, your work helps ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

At RK Mechanical, you'll support commercial, industrial, mission-critical, data center, and advanced manufacturing projects while working alongside experienced field leaders and trade professionals. You'll perform the full range of Journeyman-level plumbing duties while contributing to quality installations, project success, and team productivity.

• →Install, assemble, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial plumbing systems.
• →Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and field layouts to support accurate installations.
• →Perform layout activities, material takeoffs, and material, tool, and equipment requisitions.
• →Install piping, fixtures, equipment, supports, and related plumbing system components.
• →Support equipment startup, system testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
• →Perform quality inspections and ensure work complies with project specifications and applicable codes.
• →Help maintain productivity, quality standards, and project schedules.
• →Mentor apprentices and support safe jobsite execution.

• Journeyman or Master Plumber license required.
• Commercial, industrial, or mechanical construction plumbing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, tools, equipment, and installation practices.
• Familiarity with plumbing codes and industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship.
• Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, or large commercial projects preferred.

• Work indoors and outdoors, including dusty, noisy, and active construction environments.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in other challenging jobsite conditions.
• Climb, balance, squat, kneel, crouch, and perform physically demanding construction activities.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds.
