Rodelco Electronics, a privately held company located on Long Island, New York, is seeking a full-time Material Handling Associate to support our military and defense electronics manufacturing operation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving, as well as helping to maintain and control inventory in an electronics parts stockroom. This position requires someone with the physical ability to unload and package materials, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • →Perform the physical and administrative tasks associated with shipping, receiving, storing, kitting and distributing parts and supplies
  • →Verify incoming packages against purchase orders and invoices for accuracy and completeness
  • →Assist in organizing and maintaining the stockroom and ensure materials are properly stored and readily accessible
  • →Accurately issue parts and materials and prepare complete production kits for assembly operations
  • →Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
  • →Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and prepare routine reports
  • →Provide administrative support to the Purchasing and Quality departments
  • →Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
  • Previous experience working with management in an administrative capacity
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management, communications and organizational skills
  • Ability to safely lift, move, unload, and package materials as required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • U.S. citizenship required
