Fractional CFO (6-8 Hours per week) - Fintech/Remote

You will provide strategic financial leadership as the business prepares for fundraising and its next stage of development, including:

• →Developing and maintaining financial models, forecasts and scenario planning
• →Supporting fundraising strategy and investor readiness
• →Supporting investor discussions and due diligence
• →Advising on financial strategy, capital requirements and cash/runway planning
• →Establishing appropriate financial reporting, governance and controls
• →Providing financial input into commercial models and strategic partnerships
• →Supporting Board and investor reporting
• →Working with external accountants and specialist advisers
• →Helping establish a scalable finance function

The emphasis is on high-value financial leadership rather than routine transactional finance or bookkeeping.

You should bring:

• CFO, Fractional CFO, Finance Director or equivalent senior experience
• Strong financial modelling and forecasting capability
• Demonstrable fundraising and investor-facing experience
• Early-stage/startup experience
• Strong financial governance knowledge
• Commercial judgement
• Confidence working directly with founders and senior stakeholders
• The ability to create infrastructure rather than rely upon an established finance function
• The ability to make meaningful executive-level impact within 6–8 hours per week

Experience within FinTech, trade finance, payments, banking, lending, structured finance or other regulated financial services would be particularly valuable.

This is a flexible, fractional engagement of approximately 6–8 hours per week within an early-stage FinTech venture.

It is designed for someone comfortable with a structure centred on longer-term participation in company growth rather than a conventional executive package at this stage.
