Royal Institute comprises of 5 schools (Under the banner of “Royal Institute International School”), a higher education arm (Royal Institute of Colombo), an online teaching platform (Royal Institute Smart Academy) and a Skill development unit (Royal institute Center of Skills). To join as a teacher, the following are the selection criteria. Minimum education qualification and teaching experience requirements. Nursery: AMI or pre-school diploma holder with over 03 years of teaching experience in English medium. Primary School: Graduate / Trained teacher with over 03 years of teaching experience on relevant subjects in English medium. Secondary and Upper School: Graduate and over 03 years of teaching experience on relevant subjects in English medium. As a general criteria, for all teachers at any level, having excellent command of the English language with reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills are expected.
