Responsibilities

→Develop and implement internal audit policies, procedures, and programmes
→Manage and conduct internal audits within agreed timelines
→Prepare client-specific audit plans after conducting risk assessments
→Recommend improvements to internal controls, operational efficiency, and accounting procedures
→Report findings and recommendations to clients’ management and boards
→Oversee risk areas and control weaknesses in clients’ operations
→Conduct follow-up reviews on financial, operational, or regulatory deficiencies
→Interface with clients to optimize processes and resources
→Perform internal audits, governance reviews, and risk assessments
→Prepare audit working papers and reports following firm's methodology
→Review junior auditors’ work for quality assurance
→Assist in preparing client proposals and internal audit plans

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in Internal Audit
Experience in Risk Management
CIA, CISA, CPA, or PCA qualifications
Strong writing, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Fluent in English (Maltese is an asset)
Proven leadership skills to coach and develop team members
