Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead complex assurance engagements for a diverse portfolio of real estate clients, ensuring exceptional client service, audit quality, and compliance with professional standards.
- →Drive business development by building and expanding client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and cross-selling Assurance and Advisory services.
- →Serve as a trusted advisor on accounting, financial reporting, auditing, and regulatory matters affecting the real estate industry.
- →Mentor, coach, and develop professionals while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
- →Work across service lines to deliver integrated solutions that meet clients' evolving business needs.
- →Help shape the strategic direction, growth, and market leadership of RubinBrown's Real Estate Assurance Services group.
- →Represent RubinBrown through industry involvement, thought leadership, and professional networking to strengthen the firm's brand and expand its presence in the real estate market.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Active CPA license required.
- Extensive public accounting experience with progressive leadership in Assurance Services.
- Demonstrated success leading complex assurance engagements and serving clients in the real estate industry.
- Experience serving clients in affordable housing, LIHTC, historic tax credits, renewable energy, Opportunity Zones, or other specialized real estate sectors.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting requirements.
- Proven track record of business development, executive-level client relationship management, and practice growth.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills.
- Typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Hybrid work model with 2-3 days per week in-office.
- Ability to work extra hours as determined by workload and client expectations.
- Travel is dependent upon office location, business need, and client expectations.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to move throughout office.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 30-50 pounds.
