Customer Service Representative - Greenvale, NY

Rugby Architectural Building Products is a nationwide distributor of specialty building products with 26 locations across the United States. As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll play a key role in building relationships with customers, identifying sales opportunities, and supporting them with product knowledge and exceptional service. This position combines customer service, account management, and inside sales, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and helping customers find solutions.

You'll work closely with contractors, builders, woodworkers, manufacturers, and other customers, helping them select products, process orders, and keep their projects moving forward.

• Pay: $20-$24 per hour, based on experience
• Monday-Friday schedule
• Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

• →Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• →Serve as a trusted resource by providing product information, recommendations, and solutions.
• →Generate sales through phone, email, and customer interactions.
• →Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business.
• →Prepare customer quotes, pricing, and proposals.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Previous inside sales, customer service, account management, or sales support experience preferred
• Building materials, construction, millwork, lumber, distribution, or industrial sales experience is a plus
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service while supporting sales goals
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn Rugby's products and become a trusted resource for customers
