Saalex is seeking a Journeyman Network and Computer Systems Administrator in Ridgecrest, CA.

Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems
Support containerized environments using tools such as Podman or Docker
Perform system sustainment, patching, and vulnerability remediation
Support cybersecurity and compliance requirements in accordance with established policies
Administer Microsoft Server (2016 or later) and Windows 10/11 client systems
Perform client administration, including imaging and provisioning
Assist with Windows and Linux patching cycles
Utilize Bash scripting (Linux) and PowerShell (Windows) for basic automation and task execution
Support Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems
Apply foundational network services knowledge to help troubleshoot high‑volume data transmission issues
Other duties as assigned or required

Associate’s Degree plus 4 years’ additional work experience OR 3 to 10 years of experience and a BA/BS degree.

Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a Top Secret. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
