We're a busy, active family with three young children and an energetic dog. One parent is transitioning out of a full-time role, with the intention of spending more time with the kids. Still, our days are full and fast, and the rhythm of the day depends heavily on systems that work. In order to meet the goal of more family time, we need the right support in place. This is a home where you'll be trusted, given real autonomy, and treated as an essential part of how things run.
We care deeply about how our home runs. Order isn't a preference here, it's a necessity. We're detail-oriented, prefer for things to be done thoroughly versus done quickly, and we genuinely appreciate someone who takes pride in their work. We have household support by way of a cleaner that comes weekly, but we’re looking for someone to fill in the gaps and maintain a well-run home day in and day out. Specifically, we’re looking for support across laundry, errands, organizational projects, and meal support. Our household follows a primarily gluten-free diet, so the right candidate will be familiar with accommodating this preference.
You have prior experience running a home, either personally or professionally. You naturally see what needs to be done and take initiative to keep the household running smoothly. You're meticulous — the kind of person who spots a stain before putting something in the wash, who folds laundry properly, who restocks before the supply runs out. You work well alongside a parent who is home, you don't need constant direction, and you know how to move through a space without creating friction.
You're organized in a meaningful way — not surface-level tidy, but genuinely systematic. You can hold multiple moving pieces at once: a grocery run, a laundry cycle, a pet appointment, and a school pickup coverage, all in the same week. You're reliable, calm, and thorough. You take initiative and follow through without being asked twice. You're comfortable with young children, at ease with a protective dog, and consistent in the level of care you provide. If this sounds like you, we’d love to connect!
