- Saturday Work: Required 1–2 Saturdays per month
- Start Times: Between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM
- Home daily
- Holiday Schedule: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's off
- Local live poultry hauling operation
- Pick up live chickens from farms and transport them to the facility in Selbyville, DE
- Approximately 3 inbound loads per day
- Haul poultry cages on flatbed trailers
- Operate within approximately a 300-mile radius of Selbyville
- Secure chicken cages using straps and a cheater bar
- Automatic day-cab tractors
- Trucks cannot be taken home during time off
- Farm roads may have steep grades, bumps, and ditches, requiring careful driving
Requirements
~1 min read- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Live haul experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to strap and secure poultry cages using a cheater bar
- Comfortable driving on uneven farm roads and challenging terrain
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Commitment to safe driving and proper load securement
