About the Role

We're looking for Full-Time Fulfillment Specialists at our Dallas Locations. Both in Farmers Branch and Carrollton to join our team and work with us to deliver logistics and customer service to our Members. Internally, this role is known as a Member Specialist — a title that reflects the heart of what you'll do: showing up for real small business owners every single day.

You should be ready for a mix of physical activity, community upkeep, and partnering with members to tackle projects daily. While you'll be doing fulfillment and fulfillment-adjacent activities — from receiving inventory to shipping orders and everything in between — this is not a typical warehouse job. It's an opportunity to make a real impact on a small business owner's success. As long as you're willing to hustle, we're willing to train you!

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately
  • Monitor delivery dock and welcome delivery trucks
  • Process, package, and ship orders accurately and efficiently
  • Track and document shipment arrival and departure times
  • Execute pick, pack, and ship workflows on behalf of members across multiple sales channels
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist members with stock organization and replenishment
  • Support 3PL fulfillment operations including receiving, put-away, order processing, and returns handling
  • Ensure orders are fulfilled in accordance with member-specific SLAs and packaging requirements
  • Ensure that the building is fully operational and things are running efficiently in the warehouse, kitchen, and office space
  • Perform routine walkthroughs and upkeep of shared spaces to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
  • Operate warehouse equipment and machinery as needed (Don't know how? Don't worry,we'll show you!)
  • Assist with onboarding new members into the space, including storage setup and inventory orientation
  • Identify and escalate any facility or workflow issues to location managers proactively
  • Engage with Saltbox Members, help problem solve, and provide them with logistical support
  • Partner with members on day-to-day tasks that vary by industry and season as part of our Elastic Workforce (eForce)
  • Support members with fulfillment platform setup and order management tasks
  • Identify fulfillment bottlenecks and proactively communicate solutions to members and location managers

Note: Member-facing responsibilities are nice-to-have. Strong candidates with fulfillment and operations experience are encouraged to apply even without a customer service background, these skills can be developed on the job.

Requirements

  • Attention to detail - associates must be able to find and extract merchandise from storage areas and shelves and follow member-specific tasks
  • Physical strength and stamina, as associates may be required to move objects or goods from one place to another and operate necessary machinery efficiently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory a plus
  • Tech savvy and willing to learn new technology
  • Retail and warehouse experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and location managers
  • Personable, approachable, and strong ability to collaborate with peers
