Retail Store Processor

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

• →Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• →Help track and report production numbers
• →Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• →Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• →Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• →Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• →Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock

• Paid training on store procedures
• Ongoing coaching and support from store leadership
• Opportunity to build retail and customer service skills

• Ability to process donated merchandise
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic communication and teamwork skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day
• High school diploma or currently pursuing

• Previous retail or thrift store experience
