Youth Program Counselor

• →Provide sports/arts/education/mentoring programs for youth ages 5 to 16.
• →Help with the day-to-day activities of the Fusion Program, such as:
  • →Recreation activities
  • →Help tutor & supervise the homework room
  • →Encouraging teens to come to youth group events
• →Be aware of and follow all safety precautions and procedures.
• →Help with the maintenance of all areas used by the program.
• →Assist with the preparation and distribution of daily snack.
• →Assist the director in whatever manner needed.
• →Keep records in compliance with standards in order to assure program evaluation/certification requirements.
• →Keep the Family and Youth Ministries Coordinator informed on all critical issues.
• →Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma / GED, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• 1+ year experience working with children preferred.

• Ability to collaborate on social issues within kids, families and communities.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Working knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint
• Willingness to learn new software as needed

• Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
