Video Teleconferencing Technician Location: Doral, Florida Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $83,000.00 Position Type: Full-Time Clearance Required: Active Top Secret Clearance Position Overview Sandy Mac Evolution is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Video Teleconferencing Technician to support video teleconferencing operations in Doral, Florida. The selected candidate will provide Tier I and Tier II support for VTC systems, assist with conference scheduling, troubleshoot outages, support installations, and help ensure reliable communications for mission-critical users. Key Responsibilities Provide Tier I and Tier II customer support for VTC systems. Schedule video conferences using Cisco TelePresence Management Suite, also known as TMS. Respond to VTC system outages and take appropriate action to reroute services or use available failover and backup capabilities to meet VTC client needs. Conduct remote and on-site site surveys to determine requirements for new VTC system installations, upgrades, or new VTC system deployments. Support on-site VTC installations, including assisting with network device configurations, equipment installation, equipment setup, configuration, and system check-out. Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and customers to ensure technical issues are resolved accurately and professionally. Minimum Qualifications Working and practical knowledge of IP networks and how they are implemented as part of, or in support of, VTC systems. Experience providing Tier I and Tier II customer support for VTC systems. Ability to troubleshoot VTC issues, support conference operations, and assist with system installations. Strong customer service, communication, and technical coordination skills. Desired Qualifications Experience supporting a DoD Combatant Command or component is desired, including SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, or SPACECOM. Experience with Cisco TelePresence Management Suite is strongly preferred. Prior experience supporting mission-critical VTC environments is a plus. Clearance Requirement Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance to be considered for this position. Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time. Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment, including a calculator, copy machine, computer, and printer. Must be able to frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, including exchanging accurate information and potentially delivering presentations.
