Analytics and PowerBI Development Intern

• Location: Prague, Czech Republic
• Contract: Dohoda o pracovní činnostii (Minimum 20hrs per week)
• Internship Duration: One-year program with the possibility of extension for a second year
• Role Type: Hybrid Role

• →Design, build, and publish interactive dashboards and reports tailored to business needs
• →Translate business requirements into clear, user-friendly, and visually compelling data visualizations
• →Ensure reports follow established design standards, branding guidelines, and usability best practices

• Connect Power BI reports to the Snowflake Data Foundation, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and traceability
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to understand data models and leverage available datasets effectively
• Support the definition and rollout of standardized reporting templates across EM&S functions and sites, identifying opportunities to consolidate existing reports and eliminate redundancies
• Ensure alignment with global KPIs and metrics frameworks
• Contribute to documentation of data sources, transformations, and report logic

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements, present prototypes, and incorporate feedback
• Participate in team meetings, sprint reviews, and project updates
• Support change management and adoption of new reports within the team

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• Available for a minimum 1 year internship 

• Proficiency or strong interest in Microsoft Power BI (report building, DAX, data modeling)
• Familiarity with SQL for data querying and manipulation
• Understanding of data visualization principles and best practices
• Knowledge of or exposure to cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, or similar) is a plus

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills — ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Proactive, autonomous, and solution-oriented attitude
• Collaborative team player, comfortable working in a multicultural environment
• Fluent in English (working language of the team)
