About the Role
~1 min readThis isn’t a typical supervisor role. As an Assistant Production Manager at Regents Park, you will support the Production Manager in leading a large team responsible for sorting, processing and preparing stock for the retail stores. You’ll play a hands-on role in driving daily output, supporting team performance and maintaining strong operational standards - while building the capability to step into a Production Manager role over time. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will:
- Support the leadership of a high-volume production team
- Help drive daily output, productivity and workflow across the production floor
- Monitor team performance and support adjustments to meet targets
- Maintain quality standards and consistency of processed stock
- Support safe work practices and ensure processes are followed
- Step into leadership of the production floor when required
You’ll spend most of your time on the production floor, working alongside your team and supporting delivery of daily targets. You might:
- Coordinate workflow to ensure production targets are met
- Support team members to improve pace and quality of work
- Monitor output and adjust resources in real time
- Assist with onboarding and training of new team members
- Ensure safety processes and standards are followed
- Work closely with other leaders to ensure stock flow meets demand
You are a hands-on team leader ready to step into a broader operational leadership role. You’ll bring:
- Experience in retail, QSR hospitality, production, warehousing, logistics or similar environments
- Experience leading or supervising teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A practical, work-on-the-floor leadership style
- A focus on productivity, quality and team performance
- A willingness to learn and take on more responsibility
- Have a LF forklift license
