The ADI North America leadership team is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of goods from suppliers to customers. This role is critical in ensuring timely shipments, accurate documentation, and strong coordination between internal teams, carriers, and vendors. You will be responsible for driving data collection, process mapping, and financial data analysis, to help achieve value drivers and improvement initiatives. In this role, you will directly impact the cost control of all transportation related operations within the ADI network.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments; schedule pickups and deliveries
- Track shipments, resolve transit issues, and communicate status to stakeholders
- Monitor vendor, customer, and carrier compliance and performance
- Maintain carrier scorecards, KPIs, and freight performance reports
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation and carrier expense transactions
- Analyze freight costs, demurrage, and accessorial charges; identify cost‑saving opportunities
- Support freight expense reporting, scrap claims, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain transportation SOPs and documentation repositories
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, customer service, and cross‑functional teams
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- 2–3 years of experience in transportation or logistics (inbound & outbound freight)
- Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders, or 3PLs
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time‑management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables/VLOOKUPs a plus) and ERP/logistics systems
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A problem‑solving mindset and sense of ownership
- Continuous improvement and cost‑efficiency focus
- Strong collaboration across cross‑functional teams
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Integrity, adaptability, and accountability
Requirements
~1 min read- 2–3 years of experience in transportation or logistics (inbound & outbound freight)
- Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders, or 3PLs
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time‑management skills
