Position Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM)

South Bay Sand Blasting & Tank Cleaning, Inc. is seeking a dependable and organized Warehouse / Materials Coordinator to support our Washington operations.

This position is responsible for maintaining accountability of tools, equipment, materials, and consumables, while supporting production teams with job staging, deliveries, inventory control, and general warehouse coordination.

The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • →Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming tools, materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • →Maintain an organized and clean warehouse, tool room, and designated storage areas.
  • →Track inventory levels and notify Purchasing or Management when materials or consumables need to be reordered.
  • →Issue and receive tools and equipment to employees and maintain accountability.
  • →Assist with tracking damaged, missing, or out-of-service tools and equipment.
  • →Stage materials, tools, PPE, and equipment for upcoming jobs and field crews.
  • →Coordinate deliveries and pickups of materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • →Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles and delivery trucks.
  • →Maintain records of material receipts, transfers, and job-specific equipment when required.
  • →Verify deliveries against packing slips, purchase orders, or internal requests.
  • →Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, QA, Safety, and management regarding material and equipment needs.
  • →Assist with local vendor pickups and deliveries as needed.
  • →Help maintain company vehicles, trailers, storage containers, and equipment in an orderly condition.
  • →Perform routine warehouse inspections and identify housekeeping, safety, or inventory concerns.
  • →Support periodic inventory counts and audits.
  • →Assist with general yard and warehouse housekeeping as required.
  • →Perform additional operational support duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Previous warehouse, inventory, construction, industrial, maritime, or logistics experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work with spreadsheets, email, and inventory records.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate or learn to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and similar equipment.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow instructions while also working independently.
  • Comfortable working with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience with tool control or inventory systems.
  • Experience in ship repair, construction, coatings, industrial services, or a similar field.
  • Familiarity with purchasing, receiving, job staging, or material tracking.

All positions require a pre-employment medical test. This employer participates in E-Verify. Must be able to qualify for DBIDS security clearance. Ability to read technical English is a must. U.S. Citizenship is preferred (for some work locations it is required). Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
