✓Assisting in performing geotechnical investigations and analyses, retaining wall/excavation support design, hydrology and hydraulic studies; and reinforced concrete design

✓Preparing construction plans

✓Supporting advanced earthquake engineering analyses

✓Performing construction observation and materials testing

✓Some travel may be required

✓Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering Bachelor’s. Enrollment in other college engineering or relevant science programs may be considered.

✓Possess good oral and written communication skills and computer literacy

✓Ability to work with direction as part of a team

✓Willingness to perform a variety of tasks including office and field work

✓Desire and willingness to work outdoors

✓Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds

✓Master’s degree in Civil Engineering

✓Junior, senior, and graduate students

✓Prior professional work or summer intern work in a related field

✓Must possess a valid driver’s license as driving is an essential function of the job

✓Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check

✓Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
