Hotel Bartender/Server- Part Time 4pm-10:30pm

As a Bartender/Server  you will be responsible for limited service of the lounge and bar area including but not limited to: beverage preparation and service, food service and limited kitchen prep and responsibilities.

• Must be TIPS certified in the state of Connecticut
• This is a Part Time position
• Must have a friendly disposition and the ability to work as a team with others
• Shift is 4pm-10:30pm
• The ability to work a flexible schedule
• Availability to work weekends and holidays, in addition to weekdays is a must!
• Attention to detail very important
• Previous hotel bartending experience preferred
• Carry food, dishes, trays, or silverware from kitchen to serving counters.
  Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

• Set up bar area and maintain cleanliness to ensure food/drink safety. 
• Sanitize tables or seats after guest departs
• Carry dishes and other tableware to kitchen for cleaning.
• Clean up spilled food, drink or broken dishes and remove trash.
• Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean glassware, dishes, or trays.
• Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers.
• Wash all dirty dishes in dishwasher
• Sweep, mop or vacuum floors.
• Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• Previous food and beverage experience preferred or equivalent training.

• Work schedule varies and includes working on holidays and weekends.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching; stooping, kneeling, or crouching.

This is not a Monday through Friday job, in fact it requires a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, but it is for you if you love people and have the right attitude!
