Senior Staff / Senior Algorithm Engineer (Clearance Required)

For the past forty-five plus years, we have supported Department of Defense customers by developing innovative remote sensing algorithms, tools, and techniques to deliver world-class data exploitation capabilities supporting missile defense; intelligence, surveillance, & reconnaissance; space domain awareness; and aircraft survivability missions.

• →Lead the research, development, and maturation of advanced numerical algorithms for image processing and data exploitation, including detection, tracking, estimation, clutter suppression, and processing.
• →Design, implement, and optimize high-performance tracking algorithms in Python, Rust, and C++, with emphasis on scalability, latency reduction, and robustness for operational missions.
• →Develop and tune Kalman filtering, tracking, and data exploitation algorithms in Python, Rust, and C++.
• →Develop and optimize Resource Management algorithms based on mission requirements
• →Architect and develop end to end processing pipelines, from raw data ingest through processing chains, feature extraction, tracking, and production deployment in mission environments.
• →Experience employing Cuda and its ecosystem for libraries

• Active Top Secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related technical field
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience implementing Kalman or particle filtering
• Proficient in Python, Rust, and C++ for algorithm development and tuning
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, well-tested code
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across technical disciplines

• PhD in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Experience working with remotely sensed data or scientific data processing workflows
• Experience working with Computer Vision algorithms and libraries for feature recognition and typing
• Experience working in Agile software development environments and using task scheduling and tracking software (e.g., JIRA)
