Your priority as a Disability Employment Consultant is providing engaging one‑on‑one or group support to school leavers and clients with a disability by identifying their employment interests and current skills, highlighting areas for development, delivering capacity‑building classes, and developing individualised job plans, group plans and presentations that support their pathway into meaningful employment.
This role requires someone who is personable, has an adaptable communication style, and has previous experience in employment services or supporting people with additional advocacy support.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Maintain excellent relationship with school leavers, clients. families and stakeholders.
- →Bridge the gap between school leavers with a disability and employment opportunities!
- →Confidently facilitate fun and engaging group capacity building classes, work safety and job search sessions.
- →Researching the industry and call prospective business's to help gain employment opportunities.
- →Liaise and negotiate with local business and potential employers on behalf of our employees, discuss suitability and effectively refer them to suitable opportunities - this includes warm and cold calls to prospective business.
- →Ensure reports, compliance with administrative processes are followed
Requirements
