Analyst, Vehicle System Validation Engineer

This position is in the Pilot Hall organization, which facilitates collaboration between R&D and Production. Support the identification, analysis, root-cause review, and resolution of issues during the vehicle commissioning process within a production environment. You will work hands-on with ECUs and diagnostic systems and collaborate cross-functionally to support practical, sustainable solutions. This role combines technical knowledge, diagnostic troubleshooting, and systems understanding with a proactive and analytical mindset. You’ll contribute directly to the future of the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV).

• →Ensure proper implementation/documentation in testing of software, functions, and diagnostics, and guided fault finding on the shop floor.  
• →Participate in the software qualification process throughout the product development phase. 
• →Support the resolution of product problems and countermeasures through pre-series and series production by analyzing issues, documenting findings, and coordinating with cross-functional partners to help stabilize software quality. 
• →Analyze commissioning, functional, and diagnostic errors; recommend immediate measures to address them; and support monitoring of their effectiveness. 
• →Support coaching and qualification sessions for production employees by providing analysis, documentation, and technical input related to system architecture, function, and diagnostics. 
• →Support with reporting, evaluations, and key figures, emphasizing error evaluations from databases.  
• →Assist in developing and implementing methods and systems that support software, function, and diagnostics maturity and quality, including assurance processes and protocols. 
• →Collaborate in cross-functional teams to identify immediate and long-term measures for improving quality and efficiency across the organization. 
• →Document and interpret analysis results, summarize findings within a broader context, and identify actionable insights to support process and system improvements. 
• →Support tracking defects to oversee their resolution and identify trends or recurring issues requiring systematic address.
