Responsibilities
~2 min readThe Parts Logistics Process Improvement Sr Specialist is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing capabilities across the parts logistics function. This role focuses on optimizing end-to-end logistics processes and enabling efficient, scalable operations through data-driven insights and operational best practices.
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
Process definition and improvement
- →Develop and optimize logistics processes identifying what has driven success in other OEM’s or industries, assessing both effective and less effective processes, and then tailor these insights to craft the most efficient, scalable logistics processes for Scout. Leveraging both innovative D2C strategies and proven other OEM models.
- →Develop, identify, and analyze opportunities to improve end-to-end parts logistics processes (order fulfillment, transportation, warehousing, packaging)
- →Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- →Standardize processes across regions, teams, and functions
- →Develop and implement best practices to improve service levels, reduce costs, and increase efficiency
Process Optimization & Enablement
- →Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure logistics processes are effectively supported by existing tools and platforms (ERP, WMS, TMS, etc.)
- →Translate business needs into clear process requirements
- →Support process readiness and operational alignment during tool or platform changes
- →Promote adoption of standardized tools, workflows, and digital capabilities
Data & Performance Management
- →Define and track key logistics KPIs (delivery performance, cost, accuracy, cycle time)
- →Support development of dashboards and reporting tools to enable decision-making
- →Use data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- →Work closely with Parts Operations, Service Operations, IT, and external partners
- →Act as a bridge between business teams and technical teams
- →Support training and change management for new processes and tools
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- →Establish process governance and documentation standards
- →Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- →Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Requirements
