About the Role
~2 min readThe Data, AI and Privacy Legal Team (the “DAP Legal Team”) delivers Data, AI and privacy legal support across Securitas Group. The team operates at both Group and regional level, embedding data governance, AI risk management and privacy compliance into Securitas’ global operations. At Group level, the DAP Legal Team shapes how Securitas manages data and technology across its 44 markets through supporting Group-level units such as Securitas IT, the Global sales function Global Clients, as well as the newly established business specialization Security Risk Management.
We are looking for an experienced Data, AI and Privacy lawyer to join our DAP Legal Team and provide dedicated Group-level legal support for units including Securitas IT, Security Risk Management and Global Clients. You will be the single point of legal contact for privacy, AI and data-governance matters for Securitas’ most strategically significant Group-level units. You will provide pragmatic legal expertise on Data, AI and Privacy compliance to a wide range of Group stakeholders, and develop cohesive approaches across a complex, global organization – ensuring compliance while enabling innovation and business efficiency.
This role offers a rare opportunity to shape how a newly established DAP Legal Team structures its Data, AI and Privacy compliance at the Group level, and to influence how privacy and AI governance are embedded into enterprise-wide technology, and to foster collaboration across markets and business functions at scale.
Responsibilities

You will:

Act as the primary DAP legal contact for Group functions, advising on service offerings, enterprise technology deployments, IT governance frameworks, cloud and SaaS solutions, and AI-driven systems.

Review and advise on data processing agreements and intra-group data transfer arrangements arising from Group programmes and enterprise service deployments.

Conduct DPIAs and privacy impact assessments for enterprise-wide technology projects and digital transformation initiatives, and lead AI impact assessments for AI-driven systems, ensuring regulatory compliance is embedded from the outset.

Lead the development and embedding of privacy-by-design principles across Group functions, supporting global rollouts and ensuring privacy compliance obligations are integrated and supporting the deployment processes across jurisdictions.

Act as the DAP legal contact for the Global Clients function, advising on privacy and AI law obligations arising from global client agreements and associated data processing arrangements.

Contribute to the development of global data and AI governance, AI risk-assessment and privacy compliance strategies.

Translate complex regulatory requirements into pragmatic, business-oriented guidance for Group stakeholders.

Collaborate with regional DAP Legal Counsels to ensure consistency between Group-level positions and regional implementation.

Deliver guidance, training and business updates on Data, AI and Privacy regulations and developments.

Contribute to monitoring, audit and reporting processes to support accountable governance.

Requirements
~1 min readMinimum 5 years of experience in a privacy, data protection or technology legal role with substantive GDPR exposure.

Some working knowledge of the wider EU Digital Decade regulatory package (e.g. Data Act, NIS2 Directive, DORA).
Relevant privacy certifications, such as IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe (CIPP/E) are considered an advantage but are not required.
Relevant AI governance certifications, such as IAPP Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) are considered an advantage but are not required.
Awareness of U.S. data and privacy laws as well as related regulatory frameworks, with the ability to advise on legal areas impacting data use.
Shaping the regional approach to Data, AI and Privacy compliance at a formative moment for the DAP Legal Team.
