Travel: 10%
Salary Range: $22.00 to $24.00 hourly based on experience. 

Responsibilities

As a Human Resource Generalist, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of human resources operations, employee onboarding, compliance administration, and employee support activities within a fast-paced and growing business environment. This position plays a key role in supporting HR and business operations by ensuring a positive employee experience, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional service to applicants, new hires, and employees throughout the employment lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is a customer-focused HR professional with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. They possess a service-oriented mindset, maintain confidentiality, and thrive in a collaborative environment while providing outstanding support to employees and business partners.

  • →Manage and execute the full onboarding process for newly hired employees.
  • →Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and new hires throughout the onboarding experience.
  • →Coordinate and monitor pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug screenings, and employment documentation.
  • →Support new hire orientation programs and educate employees on company policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace expectations.
  • →Process and audit I-9 forms, personnel records, background screening results, and onboarding documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • →Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

An ideal candidate brings:

  • A service-first mindset, clear communication skills, strong attention to detail, and sound judgment when approaching challenges. The ideal candidate is solutions-focused and thrives in both independent and team settings.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Knowledge of I-9 documentation requirements, background screening processes, employment regulations, and HR compliance standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain confidential employee information, manage multiple priorities, and deliver exceptional customer service.

 

Experience That Sets You Apart

  • Previous experience supporting onboarding, employee relations, recruiting, or HR operations.
  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a multi-site or high-volume hiring environment.
  • Experience working within the security services industry or other service-based organizations.
