As a Part Time Unarmed Museum Security Officer in University City, Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients at a leading museum on a university campus. You will monitor and patrol assigned museum areas and galleries, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with students, staff, and visitors, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. • →Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• →Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• →Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and campus contacts regarding incidents and daily activities.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
