As a Full Time Unarmed Bicycle Patrol Security Office in University City, Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in commercial and higher education environments. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will ride a bicycle to conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. You will engage professionally with visitors and staff, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. • →Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and community members by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• →Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, facilities, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• →Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• →Document patrols, incidents, and notable observations accurately and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
