As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, support badge and access control processes, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while using technology to document activities and support a welcoming environment. • →Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or facility concerns.
• →Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders according to established procedures.
• →Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and reporting security-related observations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated client representatives.

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
