As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Hershey, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service. You will use clear communication and technology to document observations while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

• →Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, warehouses, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• →Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• →Support the protection of food production operations by observing for unauthorized access, damaged property, or conditions that may affect site operations, and promptly reporting findings to appropriate personnel.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
