As a Security Officer X Ray Screening Technician in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will use screening equipment and conduct access checks to help identify prohibited items and support a secure environment. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, document security-related activity, and provide responsive customer service. • →Provide customer service to clients, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• →Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with established screening protocols and site requirements.
• →Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipping-related documentation as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• →Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, trailer yards, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
