Paid Training.   Job Description  Select’s Automation Technician II set up, adjusts, and operates electrical and mechanical automation devices and systems.   The essential job functions include, but are not limited to Installs and repairs various automation equipment, including but no limited to, level, pressure, flow and communication devices. Ensures high quality and adherence to standard operating procedure. Provides training on-site and over the phone to field personnel for new processes and technologies. Compiles and generates reports. Must possess valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select’s insurance guidelines. Highschool diploma or GED is preferred. Technical expertise. Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection. Prolonged sitting, standing, walking. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
