Responsibilities

→Coordinate service line instruments & equipment purchase needs.
→Provide service line education.
→Participate in staff interviews.
→Review used pick tickets for changes and give to CC tech or Charge Auditor for changes.
→Work with vendors & materials management to ensure needed items & identify cost reduction opportunities.
→Check expirations dates on specialty carts/ areas not stocked by materials.
→Support precepting of staff to service line.
→Collaborate/ work with surgeons in service line.
→Support/ facilitate change.
→Provide input for EPRs
→Eliminate unused product/items/equipment.
→Keep service line equipment in good working order and organized.
→Work with CSS on instrument set needs/ condensing of trays and changes to reduce cost.
→Submit and follow work orders as needed on equipment used in your service line.
→Review surgery schedule in advance to identify potential equipment/instrument conflicts or supply/implant issues.

Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (required)
MSN (Preferred)

Registered nursing License (Required)
BLS required within 90 days of hire
Professional Specialty Nursing Certification (CNOR) preferred.

3 years of acute care RN experience(required)
3 years of Scrub and circulator experience in an OR required
Candidates who have completed a PeriOp 101 program preferred
Manages complex cases in fast-paced environments
Communication with patients and providers

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $123,572.80 - $188,635.20 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
