The Medical-Surgical Unit at Sentara Obici Hospital is a great place to learn and grow, supported by a longstanding leadership team and strong preceptors dedicated to mentoring new nurses. The Med Surg is a 21-bed unit.  A general med surg - sees all types of patients - great variety and you will see a good mix of patients. This unit offers a collaborative, supportive environment ideal for both new graduates and experienced nurses seeking to enhance their skillset. Unit coordinators are on staff, ensuring smooth operations and quality patient care. • Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• NIH Stroke Scale

• Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
