The District Manager owns overall district performance and leads through Multi-Unit Studio Managers and Studio Managers. You’ll partner closely with the Clinical District Leader as a peer leader, combining strong operational execution with clinical excellence to achieve shared district goals.

This is a highly field-based position for a leader who enjoys being present with teams, coaching in real time, and creating accountability that drives results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the district in meeting or exceeding GAAP and cash revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including room utilization, labor, productivity, conversion, rebooking, OSAT, and five-star reviews.
  • Analyze trends, identify opportunities, and create focused action plans that improve performance.
  • Lead the execution of promotions, client outreach, and revenue-driving initiatives across the district.
  • Celebrate strong results while creating clear accountability for addressing performance gaps.
  • Coach and develop Multi-Unit Studio Managers and Studio Managers to lead high-performing teams and businesses.
  • Conduct consistent check-ins, field visits, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
  • Build leadership capability through clear expectations, feedback, recognition, and accountability.
  • Support succession planning and develop a strong leadership pipeline across the district.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven culture aligned with Sev Skin’s values.
  • Partner with the Clinical District Leader as a co-owner of district performance.
  • Align on priorities and action plans that connect clinical excellence, provider performance, and operational execution.
  • Conduct joint studio visits, audits, and coaching sessions to evaluate performance and strengthen consistency.
  • Address gaps at the intersection of clinical and operational execution to create a seamless client and provider experience.
  • Reinforce clear ownership of clinical standards by the Clinical District Leader and operational workflows, systems, and business processes by the District Manager.
  • Ensure studios consistently execute Sev Skin’s operational standards, scheduling practices, and workflows.
  • Drive room utilization above 90%, efficient client flow, productivity, and appropriate labor management.
  • Monitor staffing models, overtime, payroll controls, inventory, equipment maintenance, and operating expenses.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent use of Zenoti across scheduling, inventory, transactions, and revenue capture.
  • Partner with HR and cross-functional teams on workforce planning, performance management, compliance, and operational challenges.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex operational and client concerns.
  • Ensure studios maintain sufficient trained coverage to meet client demand.
  • Partner with leaders on hiring, onboarding, retention, and team development.
  • Support successful new studio openings, including leadership placement, operational readiness, and performance ramp-up.
  • Partner with Marketing and field leadership on promotions and growth initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to increase demand, improve execution, and strengthen district performance.
  • At least five years of multi-unit leadership experience in a service-based environment.
  • Proven success managing district-level P&L, revenue, labor, and performance metrics.
  • Experience leading and developing leaders, including Multi-Unit Studio Managers, Studio Managers, or equivalent roles.
  • Strong financial acumen and confidence using KPIs to make decisions and drive action.
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and leadership-development skills.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Experience in a high-growth, labor-intensive, or schedule-sensitive environment is preferred.
  • Ability to operate independently and remain highly engaged in a field-based role.

This is not a remote position. Consistent in-person leadership is essential to building strong teams, driving accountability, and achieving district goals.

  • In-field presence four to five days per week across assigned studios.
  • Approximately 75% travel within the district, including possible overnight travel.
  • Travel to support performance interventions, leadership development, operational audits, and new studio openings.
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability based on business needs.

Base Salary: $120,000 plus plus potential for an annual bonus in addition to base salary
