Software Engineer Intern

We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer Intern to join our innovative technology team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work within a highly skilled group of developers to build and maintain features for Sezzle’s platform. As a Software Engineer Intern, you’ll contribute to real-world projects, participate in code reviews, and gain exposure to Sezzle’s technology stack.

• →Assist in developing and maintaining backend and frontend services.
• →Write clean, scalable code and participate in code reviews.
• →Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new features and resolve bugs.
• →Work on performance tuning, debugging, and scaling of Sezzle's platform.
• →Document software functionalities and contribute to the knowledge base.

• Languages: Golang, Typescript, Python
• Frontend: Typescript - React and React Native
• Backend: Golang
• Database: MySQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch
• DevOps & Cloud: AWS, Kubernetes
• Version Control: Git
• CI/CD: Gitlab
• Testing: Developer-driven, focus on automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Sezzle is focused on using open source, and we build what we can before buying!

• Experience with Golang, Python, or any backend language.
• Familiarity with Javascript/Typescript, and React or similar framework.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Compensation: The salary for the Software Engineer Intern is 700 USD monthly gross.
