School of Infocomm - Lecturer (Cloud Native Infrastructure)

The school is looking for dynamic individuals with a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be involved in the following to support our full time and part-time course offerings in areas related cloud native infrastructure and foundational ICT modules.

Applicants should have a relevant qualification preferably in the fields of Computer Science/Engineering, with a minimum of 1 year’s industry experience. Industry certifications such as CCNA, RHCSA, Azure, AWS, DevOps will be a plus. 

Applicants should be proficient in two or more of the following areas: 
• Scripting languages such as Python, Powershell, Bash
• Cloud Operations in DevOps with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
• Infrastructure Automation for configuration and management e.g. Ansible/ Chef / Puppet
• Monitoring and working with large data using APM tools e.g. Splunk / Elk stack
• Container Management / Orchestration, e.g. Kubernetes / Docker Swarm/ Portman
• Administration of Private Cloud Infrastructure e.g. VMWare / OpenStack and Public Cloud Infrastructure e.g. AWS / Azure / Google
• Administration skills in Data Centre / Enterprise Networking, Linux and Windows servers
