You will be joining the Policy and Promotion team under the Quality & Excellence Group, where our work centres on building trust in Singapore products and services. In this role, you will support initiatives to promote Singapore's quality infrastructure, aligned to the country's future economic strategies. Roles will include the following:

  • →Conduct research and analysis on Standards and Conformance (S&C), drawing on data from internal and external studies to support projects tied to the division's and Group's strategic plans.
  • →Support Singapore's engagement at regional S&C platforms across ASEAN and APEC, helping the team stay abreast of global developments in S&C and contributing to Singapore's thought leadership internationally.
  • →Coordinate and manage inter-agency positions, specifically on standards, technical regulations, and conformity assessment procedures (STRACAP) topics, as part of efforts to support international, regional bilateral agreements (e.g. FTAs)
  • →Manage and support projects and initiatives linked to international engagements, meetings, fora commitments to uphold Singapore’s interests and aligned positions
  • →Provide logistical and coordination support for the division's activities, including organising meetings, workshops and events, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.

  • A degree in Public Policy, International Relations, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to conduct policy research and analysis, synthesising information from multiple sources to develop well-reasoned positions and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with standards, conformance, or trade-related policy frameworks — such as FTAs or STRACAP — with an understanding of how these shape Singapore's international engagements.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating international or regional engagements, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholder relationships concurrently.
  • Ability to communicate complex policy issues clearly and concisely, both in writing and in discussion, for a range of internal and external audiences.

We value individuals who demonstrate our CoRE values – collaborating effectively across teams, engaging others with respect, acting with courage to speak up and make decisions, and being enterprising in taking ownership, learning continuously, and driving outcomes in a dynamic environment.
