SalesSales Director

At SharkNinja, we’re building an AI-native culture. We’re not waiting for the future; we’re creating it. Our people are expected to experiment boldly, adopt new tools, and continuously raise what’s possible to create meaningful impact for our consumers. If you believe the best way to do your job hasn’t been invented yet, you’ll fit right in.

As Head of Sales, Canada, you will lead SharkNinja’s strategy, P&L, and overall business performance across the Canadian market. You will translate global and North American priorities into a clear local growth agenda, aligning Commercial, Marketing, Digital, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Consumer Experience, People & Culture, and other partners around shared outcomes.

The Head of Sales, Canada owns the single integrated commercial plan for Canada and drives the sell in of that plan with retailer partners, agencies and all external stakeholders. Canada is run inside a North American sales structure. That structure is deliberate and it gives our retail partners a single commercial interface across the continent and it gives us scale in negotiation. However, the Head of Sales, Canada also arbitrates the trade-offs across brands, categories and channels, signs it off, and carries the full P&L that results.

The Head of Sales, Canada will also bring deep understanding of Canadian consumers, customers, channels and regional dynamics — including Quebec — to decisions on portfolio, pricing, investment, innovation and go-to-market. We are looking for a consumer-obsessed, commercially sharp, hands-on leader who sets an ambitious bar, moves at pace, and builds the capability required for sustainable, profitable growth.

  • Own the Canada strategy and P&L: Develop and execute the annual and multiyear business plan, delivering revenue, gross margin, contribution margin, operating expense, working-capital, market-share, and profitability commitments.
  • Accelerate profitable growth: Identify and pursue opportunities across SharkNinja’s brands, categories, retail channels, e-commerce platforms, direct-to-consumer business, and strategic partnerships.
  • The Canada commercial agenda: Define the priorities, targets, pricing architecture, promotional strategy and trade guardrails that the North American sales organisation takes to market in Canada. Partner with NA account leadership on joint Canada targets, and hold the plan together across accounts and channels.
  • Lead the external commercial agenda: Build executive-level relationships with key national and regional retailers, marketplaces, distributors, and business partners to ensure we have strategies to deliver mutual growth and profitability.
  • The Canadian consumer: Ensure local consumer behaviour, cultural and regional difference — Quebec in particular — category trends and channel needs shape portfolio choice, positioning, pricing, communication and investment.
  • Localize the portfolio and go-to-market plan: Partner with global and North American teams to develop the right Canadian assortment, launch calendar, pricing architecture, promotional strategy, demand plan, and channel approach.
  • Orchestrate end-to-end execution: Align cross-functional teams across forecasting, inventory, supply chain, marketing, digital commerce, product launches, customer service, and financial management to deliver against the Canada plan.
  • Drive operational excellence: Establish clear operating rhythms, KPIs, and accountability across the business; improve forecast accuracy, in-stock performance, service levels, speed, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Decisions grounded in data: Monitor customer performance, market conditions, competitive activity, consumer signals, financial results and operational metrics, and turn them into timely decisions and corrective action.
  • Build an outrageously extraordinary team: Attract, develop, and retain high-performing leaders and teams, strengthening organization design, succession planning, leadership capability, engagement, and a culture of ownership.
  • Protect and represent the business: Ensure compliance with applicable federal and provincial laws, corporate policies, internal controls, ethical standards, and product, consumer, privacy, employment, competition, and language requirements. Represent SharkNinja with customers, partners, industry organizations, and other external stakeholders.

  • Drive for the extraordinary: Sets an ambitious bar, focuses the organization on the most meaningful opportunities, and takes accountability for results.
  • Be an explorer, not a tour guide: Moves confidently through ambiguity, challenges established approaches, and builds the right team to solve unfamiliar problems.
  • Lead with a relentless desire to know more: Goes deep into the consumer, customer, financial, and operational details to uncover insights others may miss.
  • Get smarter every day: Learns rapidly, seeks direct feedback, identifies performance gaps, and intentionally adjusts the plan.
