Merrimack Services is a people-first company that leads door-to-door voter mobilization programs across the country, and is working with Progressive Turnout Project, the largest voter contact organization in the country, specifically dedicated to mobilizing the Democratic Party and defending democracy.

  • Community Organizers (COs) will speak with their neighbors about the importance of voting on November 3rd by knocking on their doors and having face-to-face conversations.

  • Community Organizers will engage voters in the immediate vicinity of their own home place of residence, and will be provided with a list of approximately 200 homes that they will door knock twice between October 25th and November 3rd.

  • No travel outside of your own neighborhood is necessary. All CO activity will be GPS tracked via a phone application, and COs will be required to enter complete data from each conversation.

  • Community Organizers will attend a virtual briefing to receive information about the work to be completed and will be provided with all information necessary.

  • Community Organizers can expect their contracted work to take approximately 25-30 hours to complete, and it must be done between October 25th and November 3rd.

As independent contractors, community organizers may complete every part of the program on their own schedule, and have the flexibility to knock on doors and talk to voters when and where they choose–no schedule or time commitment is required. This is a great opportunity for individuals with other personal or professional commitments who are seeking a flexible option!

All community organizers will be *independent contractors* and paid $1,250 to complete their assigned work. Community organizers may choose their own door knocking hours, but must complete their full task to be eligible for compensation. Community Organizers can expect their contracted work to take approximately 25-30 hours to complete, and it must be done between October 25th and November 3rd.

Compensation will be provided by direct deposit, or by mailed check if requested.
