We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Community & Brand Engagement Coordinator to help bring our brands to life across a multi-state fuels and convenience retail network of approximately 1,000 company-operated and dealer-operated locations.
This role will coordinate community engagement, events, sponsorships, social media, and local brand activation, helping strengthen our connection with customers and the communities we serve. Working closely with Marketing, Operations, Dealer/Wholesale teams, community partners, and external vendors, the Coordinator will turn brand priorities into engaging and well-executed customer and community experiences.
The ideal candidate is creative, socially savvy, detail oriented, and highly execution focused, with a passion for building brands and engaging communities.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Community Engagement: Coordinate local community programs, partnerships, charitable initiatives, and other activities that strengthen the company's presence in the communities we serve.
- →Events & Activations: Plan and execute community events, store openings, customer events, local-market activations, and other brand experiences.
- →Social Media: Coordinate day-to-day social media content and execution, including content calendars, posts, community engagement, and social campaign support.
- →Content Development: Identify and develop engaging stories and content highlighting our brands, customers, employees, locations, and community involvement.
- →Sponsorships: Support evaluation, coordination, activation, and tracking of local and enterprise sponsorship opportunities.
- →Local & Dealer Marketing: Develop and coordinate event and community marketing resources that can be effectively deployed across both company-operated and dealer-operated locations.
- →Brand Stewardship: Ensure events, social content, sponsorships, and community activities consistently represent company brand standards and messaging.
- →Campaign Support: Partner with Marketing Communications and Digital & Loyalty teams to integrate social media and community activation into broader marketing campaigns.
- →Vendor & Partner Coordination: Coordinate with event vendors, community organizations, agencies, venues, and other external partners to deliver programs effectively and within budget.
- →Measurement & Reporting: Track participation, social engagement, event outcomes, sponsorship activity, and other relevant metrics to help assess program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing, social media, community relations, events, sponsorships, or brand activation.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and digital content practices.
- Experience coordinating events, community programs, sponsorships, or experiential marketing initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for engaging content.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple functions, locations, and external partners.
- Experience in retail, convenience/fuels, grocery, hospitality, QSR, or another consumer-facing industry is a plus.
- Willingness to travel and occasionally support events outside normal business hours as required.
